Federated PACS Demonstration
Location: Exostar Office, 13530 Dulles Technology Drive, Suite 200, Herndon, VA 20171
An Open House demonstration of a federated, PKI-based physical access control system (Federated PACS) that exercises the
capabilities of PIV and PIV-interoperable card technology, including use of contact and contactless card readers,
and multi-factor authentication consistent with the recent NIST Special Publication 800-116. The system was developed
in an industry-government partnership to demonstrate the value of PIV-enabled physical access solutions.

The ICAM Information Sharing Day will be hosted at the Jefferson Auditorium at the US Department of Agriculture
located at 14th and Independence Sts NW, in Washington, DC starting at 9:00 AM and scheduled to conclude at 4:00 PM.
The morning session will include presentations and discussions from several Sr. Leaders on the importance and impact
of the ICAM strategic initiative across the Federal Government. The afternoon session will encompass more granular
discussions on how HR, CIO’s, Physical Access and Application managers are/will be planning or implementing ICAM
activities. This will include presentations by early adopting agencies and a brainstorming session on ways to
identify impediments and opportunities to maximize the effectiveness of ICAM activities across federal agencies,
accelerate ICAM joint developments and speed the fielding of ICAM applications across the Federal enterprise.
